The harness racing industry should note that changes to the whip rules approved by HRA Members and scheduled to take effect on 1 June 2010 have been deferred
These changes have concerned some participants and the HRA Executive have agreed to meet with representatives of the newly formed National Trainers and Drivers Association on 10 June 2010 to discuss whip rules and other industry matters.
As such, changes to the whip rules have been delayed as a gesture of goodwill pending the outcome of these discussions.
